This is an initiation into the feminine mysteries that lives, breathes and vibrates through us.
The feminine prayer is through the body. It’s not through ascension, it’s not through transcending the body, it’s not through awareness or the experience of emptiness.
The feminine prayer is opening the matter of her body to the ecstatic and vibrating the ecstatic through her body.
This is her prayer. This is how she opens her body to the divine, to the fullness of life singing, breathing and expressing through her body.
This is a journey to activate the womb, to remember the ancient mysteries that are encoded in our bodies, our blood, our bones, in our DNA.

On this womb journey we’ll discover the temple arts as we sit in circle, commune with the land and create shamanic rituals together.

The Shamanic Womb Journey
Legacy of Janine Ma-Ree
This is a body of work that has roots in the mysteries of the Holy Grail and the Isis womb gate mysteries. The Shamanic Womb Journey in this form, came through Janine Ma-Ree, revealed over a decade or more of embodied practice and initiation.
Through her descent journey came the opening of this particular channel to this body of work and the embodiment of the womb gates.
After 10 years creating the work and 7 years of holding apprentices to deepen in this work In 2022 Janine felt to release the womb work. At that time she invited her womb apprentices to continue bringing the work out in a way that would honor the work.
In August 2024 Janine came in person to the first shamanic womb journey in Samothraki, Greece to transmit and pass down the lineage for the next spiral of this work. This is a lineage both given and received with generosity and a spirit of abundance and overflow. We are so excited to continue to bring this work out into the world with Janine holding the energy of it with us from the dark.

Musing with the Land ~ Art Photography as Ritual
On one of the final days of the retreat, enter a collective art photography ritual on the land.
This is an intuitive and creative journey into the essence of the feminine we have explored and embodied throughout the week.
Guided by presence, nature and inner expression, we move with the land rather than pose upon it. The feminine form meets the textures, elements and matter of nature, dissolving the separation between body and earth.
Through this process, photography becomes more than image-making.
It becomes a way of witnessing the feminine as living, organic and deeply interconnected with her natural habitat.
Rather than recreating fixed or performative representations of femininity, we invite authentic expression to emerge from within shaped by sensation, emotion, and the experiential weaving between every woman in the group.
The gaze and the camera become bridges between inner and outer landscapes, capturing moments that feel raw, poetic, primal and true.
Together, we co-create visual art that reflects the many faces of the feminine transmitted through the muse of each woman on the retreat.
Each image becomes a living imprint of embodiment, sisterhood and communion with nature.
About the Venue
Mariva Bungalows and Retreat Center is a traditional Greek hotel, located in the village of Therma, within a flourish natural environment, between aged plane trees, chestnut trees and blooming hydrangeas.
Its location is nothing less than amazing, inside the forestry nature of Samothraki, where several creeks (Vatras) run by, allowing a swim in the most beautiful natural pools within less than 5 minutes walk. The nature surrounding it is breath taking and vibrating with high water energy.

About Samothraki Island
We will journey through all this and more sisters, within the backdrop of Samothraki, a powerful sacred island where the Goddess has been revered for millennium! The magical island of Samothraki has been home to original initiation rites of the Greek Mystery Schools, holding and guarding this precious energy in its mountains, waterfalls, caves, rivers and temples. The archetypal energies of the Gods and Goddesses are imbued and immanent in this holy land.
Samothraki – The Island of the Great Gods as it is known - is a magical, mysterious and enigmatic island in the northeastern part of the Aegean Sea. It is the island of the Saos or Fengari mountain and a place of fascinating natural beauty and mystical ambience, where ancient Greeks performed the rites and rituals of the Kaveiria Mysteries: to worship the Great Gods of the sky, nature and sea.
The wild natural beauty of Mountain Saos (meaning Moon) offers unique natural treasures, dense vegetation, abundant springs and numerous waterfalls. Brooks and streams that originate from mountain Saos, on their way to the sea often form waterfalls, as well as “vathres”, which resemble natural pools in the rocks and will surely entice you to dive into these potent waters. The island also offers thermal hot springs, pebbled beaches and rivers with countless plane trees.
We will of course be holding some ceremonies, rituals and having initiatory experiences in the nature of this living temple! YES!

LAURA DEVA
Laura is a natural leader with a wealth of wisdom and experience, spanning from her background as a clinical and criminal psychologist to her immersion in traditional tantra, embodiment, and trauma healing.
Her powerful, authentic presence aids individuals in reconnecting with their core selves, guiding them back to their inner Temple.
Since 2012, Laura has been leading international groups with a focus on transformation and collective change, driven by a genuine desire to foster a new civilization rooted in freedom from societal conditioning and the awakening of the human heart.
Notably, she has dedicated several years to the feminine embodiment work, particularly through her involvement with Dancing Eros from 2016 to 2021.
Laura has apprenticed under Janine Ma-Ree, contributing to the co-creation of various shamanic womb journeys, online courses, and the development of Holy Ground.
AYA KAMANAKAI IWASAKI
Allured by the wild and beauty within us, Aya Kamānakai calls us to remember the ancient wisdom and awaken the intelligence stored inside our bodies. She passionately calls women to embrace their pleasure and reclaim their sexual energy as a life force to create the life of their dreams.
Combining embodied movement, somatic expression, and vocal empowerment, Aya guides journeys of self exploration designed to connect to our authentic selves, unearth our deepest desires and birth our highest offerings. JANKA JANKIEWICZ
Ecstatic earth being, slow pleasure artist and embodiment facilitator, she weaves nature, ritual and Temple Culture into transformative experiences. She holds Dark Sisterhood mysteries and DarkRoom circles, and is the creatrix of the Milk’n’Honey Festival of Conscious Eros and Temple Nourishment in Poland, while also organizing ISTA Poland.
Her path includes studies with the International School of Temple Arts, Gerhard Walper’s School of Quiet Constellations, Janine Ma-Ree’s Red Earth Womb Apprenticeship, and trainings in facilitation, tantric massage, theatre and sexology.
For years, she has gathered the Sacred Sexuality community in Poland through The Dreaming Ceremony. A lover of nature and singer devoted to the voice of the land, she also finds deep fulfillment in motherhood.
